FCCLA State Competition Results

Twenty-nine Brady High School students along with their two advisors, Alyson Evans and Jennifer Marshall, traveled to Dallas for the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) State Conference on April 5th through the 7th. During the conference, students attended leadership workshops such as Making Kindness Cool, Surviving Failure, Dressing for Success, and Marketing Yourself Online and In-Person. In addition, a variety of general sessions were held where students listened to inspirational speakers like Hoan Do, an America Ninja Warrior, discuss positive self-talk and persevering in the face of adversity.

While at the conference, all twenty-nine students represented Brady High School by competing in Parliamentary Procedure, Recycle & Redesign, and Family & Consumer Science Assessments.
