Brady High School students continue to make history with Special Olympics Texas. Four members of the Brady Unified Club are serving on the Inaugural Texas National Banner Team. Members of the NBT are comprised of representatives from the five current National Banner schools across Texas (Brady, Alamo Heights, Lewisville, Dripping Springs, & Hendrickson). Each member serves on a sub-committee led by SOTX staff to grow, promote and be the face of Special Olympics Texas. “The students spent part of their summer getting started with meetings via video chat and participating in various challenges and podcasts. They continue to meet regularly with their committee leads and other committee members to further the growth and participation of SOTX despite the current guidelines that have kept us out of normal play and leadership activities.” said Ms. Dodds, Unified Club Sponsor. “We are very proud and honored to have students continue to represent our Unified Club, BHS, their families and the community on both a state and national level.”
