On Thursday, September 20th, the Brady High School Special Olympics team competed at their annual area Bocce Tournament. “This was their third year to compete in Bocce and they just get better and better each year. I am always incredibly impressed by how naturally they excel at the game. They really enjoy playing,” said Mrs. Dodds.


Individual Results:

Thomas Allin – Silver

Kelci Cruts – Gold

Simon Guzman – Gold

Will Mays – Silver

Shyla Morgan – Gold

Ariel Tabor – Gold

Ryan Turner – Bronze


Doubles Team Results:

Myra Valdez & Ashely Sauceda - Gold


Additionally, the Brady Unified Club has a big week this week. They were asked to present at a Unified Day on Wednesday to help promote inclusion within schools and they will receive their National banner during the Pep Rally on Friday. “This has been 3 years in the making and could not have been accomplished without the support of our school, families and community,” added Mrs. Dodds. “We would love for everyone to wear red, the official color of Special Olympics to represent a united front and join us in celebration at the Pep Rally this Friday at Brady High School at 12:05.
